The Old Man and The Sea

Cold approaching is a lot like fishing.

First, you cast your net far and wide. You sink many lines with attractive lures.

You hook them hard, dazzle them.

The bigger the fish the harder to catch. You need to be very experienced. You need to be abundant. You need patience, wisdom and sharp instincts.

Some fish are strong and fierce, and if you pull to tight they’ll snap the line.

If you leave it too loose they’ll slip out to swim after a shinier object.

Discovering the middle ground can be tricky. I’ve lost many wonderful women because I made the line too tight, I pursued too hard and snapped the line. It sucks….

There’s always a shinier lure. Such is life.

Sometimes, at the last second, you just have to let go, sit back and watch…they’ll jump right into your boat. Right onto your oar (Mwa Mwaaaaa).

Now, do you keep them–or toss them back to the vicious sea? These fish feel nothing for your loss. Their life is brutal (Hot girls deal with flaking too.)
